Danlun, thank you for your great advice. Just had a physical in Late October and I'm in good health. Blood pressure is great. I do the majority of cooking in my home and salt is not abused and we don't even have a salt shaker. We season with herbs and spices and I have been told my cooking skills are good. As I wrote in my initial post I have been working on this since June so this is not a resolution I started yesterday. My purpose is to make myself accountable on a daily basis to report in what I did that day exercise wise. I have been very diligent over the last 6 mo to consistently exercise and burn calories but during the holidays I saw myself slip. Had I had to report my daily activity to all of you, I'm sure I wouldn't have handled it the same way. And if I did, I would have heard from one of my partners here asking me why I'm not reporting in. That's what this is about. And I am offering up an opportunity for others, not just myself, to also have a forum to let others know daily what there up to in regards to whatever change they feel they need to make in their daily lives. Whatever it is you want to change, well, I'm not afraid to say "hey, you are slacking", if you are or not being accountable by not checking in. It seems like most people who posted are also joining in due to weight loss but my intention for this is for people to get honest about whatever it is they feel need to be adjusted in their lives. Continuing to get healthy is not the only changes I can make to improve my life. I can work on other things too; I curse to much, I lose my cool at times to quickly, etc. If weight loss is what people want to focus on that is cool because end result is we have helped each other improve ourselves but this thread does not need to be limited to that. Unless we are honest about our shortcomings, we won't change and if we don't confess our shortcomings to another then we just live with our little secrets but because we alone own them, we don't usually change them.
