Hello all. A few days ago i did a water change. It was nothing big. 5 gallons in a 55 gallon tank. The next day my corals were shriveled up and my maroon clown was gasping. All tests came back perfect except for the calcium. It was at 600-650??? It was at 400 before the change. i did change brands of salt from instant ocean to Kent as they didnt have any more instant ocean in stock when i needed it. Could this have caused my problems?
Thanks

It's highly unlikely (actually, probably impossible) for less than a 10% water change to elevate your Ca from 400 to 600-650. You might want to check your test kit.

Your SG is a little low, s/b more like .026.

Is it possible that some contaminant got introduced into your tank and caused the reaction you're seeing?
