Thanks, tinyreef. That "mushroom effect" is more of a plague than anything! I've rearranged things a little, so I'll try to add some updated pics soon.

There are some great softie tanks here! Great thread!

You all have some wonderful looking tanks! I'll play along too.

I have started dabbling with SPS a little, as you will see. I have been seriously thinking about getting rid of the SPS and going all soft and LPS.

I suck at using my digital camera as well. The tank is much brighter than this in person, but I don't know how to get the camera to show the true coloration with the halides on.

Holy smokes that is one big leather, how tall is that?
Beautiful tank

Thanks.

I think it's around 18 in tall. I've had it for over 6 years now and it's never been fragged. It was only 4 in across when I purchased it.

It sure is beautiful, and I am thrilled that someone besides me thinks because something is big does'nt mean it has to be hacked apart.:)

awesome tank, reefy! that's an interesting softie in the 1st individual picture. (s. tortuosum?)

there's a lot of uncommon/rare specimens posted.

bilde also had some great ones in his tank. (late kudos to him! )
