Yep it's a capnella. It is one of my favorites. Sometimes you can find them in the coolest green colors.

Cool tank Pete! And REALLY cool frogfish! What do you feed him?

Thanks, he gets all frozen food, and is fed about once a week. I try to vary it as much as possible, krill, silversides, shrimp, ect, all soaked in selcon. He recognizes me as the one who feeds him and "fishes' whenever I'm near the tank. I've had him about two years, and he is about three inches long.

I started my 240 gallon glasscages tank in approx. 8/07
Here is one of the first pictures of after transferring most of the contents of a 180 over to the 240.

mfinn, your tank looks great after 5 months...

Do you do anything special to the tank, do you have a Kalk or CA reactor... What does your maintenance consist of ??

asnatlas
thank-you.
That date is a typo, it should say 8/06. So that tank is a year and a half old now.

I don't add anything to my tank.
I just do 20% water changes every 2 weeks.
I have done just water changes to my tanks since the mid 90's.
I use to add chemicals and additives, but stopped for a while and didn't see any change in the corals ( soft corals ). But I did see a change for the better when I started doing good sized water changes on a consistant basis.

So water change, suck out the detritus in the sump and clean the skimmer every two weeks.

Thanks crabbejoe! I really like softies. I've owned LPS and SPS in the past but I really prefer softies. They are not colorfull as hard coral, but I like their movement and their fast spread. My favorite are definitly the leathers. I own a lot of big one in my tank, so, I have to run carbon 24/7 to avoid chemical war. But that was so beautiful and relax...

When I talk about my tank with others reefer of my area, anyone don't seem to understand why I only have softies. It has a kind of prejudice about softies. Because they are easy to keep, a lot of people think that they are begginer corals and that when you get experience, you have to switch to hard coral...IMO, their is nothing beautiful than a field of softies!:-)
