Does anybody out there know if there are color variances between genders of the sohal tang?
The guy at my LFS said that the sohals that he saw at the wholesaler's didn't have the orange markings behind the gills.
I've never been able to distinguish differences between the sexes in tangs, and have never heard of any.
I'm thinking it's probably more a diet or stress related issue.
Then again, I rarely see this particular species of tang, so I'm pretty ignorant about it.
Any thoughts?
