I have them mounted on each side. because i have so much rock in this tank they dont just blast each other i run reefcrest at full speed

My mp10 is mounted on the back. The dry side is in chamber 3 in an acrylic box made for the purpose. I would have it in chamber 2 but them my rbta would get sucked in.

I have a dry dock. My mp10 is in the center compartment.

Im thinking I will place it in the 2nd section in the back. I will make a dry box for it.

Has anyone done an ATO other then the switch / pump / holding tank method? Restricted space for me.

I put together this temp ATO. Same concept as the stock bottles just bigger. Holds 1/2 gal of water, the stock bottles = less then 1/4 gal total for both. Double the capacity is better then none. The box rests on the same supports as the stock plate. Still only a couple days to refill, but for now it will work.

The bubblemagus is pretty good. Skimming lots of stuff. Very happy with this skimmer.

which model of bubblemgus you are using? post a picture pls. I am using MCE600, way overkills regarding to the size. Also, it is skimming too much and the tank has super low nutrition. SPS are pale, zoas grow slowly.

how many watts heater you guys are using? i have a 100W heater in third chamber, not sure if it is enough, the room temperature is 68, the tank temperature is set 77. the heater works all the time. the controller will turn it off if it is beyond 78, it seems it never made that.

100 watt in the 3rd chamber. I also have a 250w mh and heat is an issue. switching to leds soon.

no heater for me, no need here in Miami. I actually let the temperature drop the few times it does get cold here. Coldest I've seen it this year was 72 and have no issues with corals or fish, and its quite natural in the wild. My a/c is set at 74 and my tank hovers around 76-78 during the day with the 250 halide on, but I do have a quad clip-on fan that turns on with the halides, without the fans it creeps pretty high, around 82.

I have a 150W Jager in the 1st chamber. The first chamber is the only one that maintains water level so when I'm doing a water change I don't have to worry about the heater being on in the air.
Slightly related: I use a 7" clip fan for cooling through a controller. The fan cools more effectively than the heater heats. Once when I left the fan on the heater couldn't keep up and the temp dropped to the low 70s before I realized it.

+ 1. 2 would be a whole lot of overkill. 1 mp10 is more than enough.

Depends what your keeping. I have a 34G Solana (back chambers removed and tank is drilled with overflow, so its essentially a 20x20x20 cube) and I have a MP20 and MP10 with VERY minimal liverock in the tank...for my tank, I could use a little more. My tank is all mature gorgonians and SPS which both love flow. As frags the MP20 was enough but not anymore.

This is my 25 gallon ecoxotic cube Been up for 3 months. Was an upgrade from my BC14. I love it!

I am running 3 panorama pros and 2 stunner strips over this tank. SInce it's mostly Softies and LPS I've has no issues growing anything. I've added a couple SPS to see how they will do in the long run.

Those are some nice bubble tips you have in there. Are they all clones from one original anenome? Have they stung your other corals?
