Solar powered aquarium from Italy

Just read your entire journal and I love your tank.

I had a cryptic zone set up in my system for years and removed it after listening to people who advised it was a detritus trap and a nitrate factory. Since it's removal my Po4 and No3 have been higher than before.

After reading of your success and the article on cryptic zones I will be reinstating mine!

Thank you Paolo. :)

Just one question, do you have a filter sock on your drain or would this be a disadvantage to the small critters moving from the display to the sump?

Rod.

Hi Rod!

Happy of being useful!!!
I do not have any filter sock as I think it's a nonsense with cryptic, but maybe if I could restart, I'd put the rocks of the cryptic on a grid, to make easy eventual cleaning intervention.

Superb tank....Really a true wonderful tank...

What do you dose to keep their colors? Any carbon dosing or something..?
How many hours of lighting period?

Wow is all i can say! Your pics and tank are stunning. I am newly inspired and i love that you are doing all this without a complicated regimen of dosing. Keep the updates coming. You have a lot of fans!

Seeing this video, I cried!
We are crying with you, Paolo. Such a terrible tragedy! Are you absolutely sure you couldn't have kept the corals as they were and just upgraded to a 4000 litre tank?
