Solenoid valves

I am trying to hook up a solenoid valve to my RO/DI unit to shut off the water going to it. I have a couple of NC solenoids from autotopoff but they aren't strong enough to shut the water off when de-energized. They claim to be rated for 100 PSI but they aren't doing the job at around 80 PSI. They are brand new and I have tried two different ones. Anyone know of a reasonably priced solenoid valve that is 120V?

Not sure if this is exactly what you need, but my searches led me to a valve used in fridge electronic water dispensers. Look on amazon.

Scott,

Is the water going in on an on demand pump ?

I have a setup where I use the autotopoff solenoid and it works great....but my RODI incoming is through an on demand pump booster pump ( allows for PSI setting ) and I use the solenoid on the downstream side of the other on demand pump serving my storage tank and ATO for the fuge.

Maybe this will work......Alcon 05EB009A1-1GHA Solenoid Valve N.C. w/ Flow Control 3/4 FPT 120V
