I'm running Aqua Lifter pumps for dosing. As expected they are not shutting off on a solid state outlet. Is there a way to force it off other than applying and additional load?
Thanks,
John
That's what I did, I was hoping there was a way around it I have run out of relay outlets. I wonder what the current draw on a solid state outlet has to be in order for it to function properly?
I don't have any direct experience with it, but others here have had luck with plugging a surge suppressor strip into the triac outlets and having luck with low Wattage devices. Might be worth a try, at least. If nothing else, could be good reason to justify an EB4 with all mechanical relay outlets!

NO MORE OUTLETS! The Devil Women already wants to kick me to the curb!
I may go that route at some point, but I'll try the power strip thing and maybe add a light or something to get the current draw above 5 watts.
Since I'm dosing with that pump it needs to be pretty bullet proof. I had my alk hang on yesterday, luckily I saw the big ph swing and didn't melt the tank down. I had to unplug the pump it wouldn't shut off from the web control panel, if I were away from home I would have been screwed!
