i would prefer to get rid of the fish first as they are the most important to me.
they are all healthy and eating very well never had any signs of ICH or any disease in 2 years.

do you have any pics of the rocks? are they branching type? I've been looking for a few choice pieces to make some jut-outs and bridges.

no branches...its what creature comfort sold me as "premium" rock

i will take some pictures for you i just have to remove the coraline off of the glass...canbarely see in there anymore.

Hahaha! Been sitting for a while huh? Too bad you guys don't have a good LFS out that way. I'm always bummed going into Creature Comforts. I always hope for a great find, but have yet to find one.

yeah been sitting for quite a while...the coraline algae is insane!

i remember i used to complain i didnt have any crowing...now i wish it would stop...tried not doing water changes hoping the calcium would lower enough to make it stop growing but its not helping at all.


creature comforts is very expensive i have found.
when i can get 6-7 frags for 40$ of sps from people around here i find it very hard to go in there and spend 40$ on one sorry frag that looks sick and is otherwise selling for less than 20$ online.

recently due to money restraints i have been considering selling everything. i have 2 tanks...i figured once i can move the big one out...ill start with the small one.

plan on having a tank down the road but for right now doing my math the hobby is not something i can afford to keep up with.

im at work and school for almost the entirety of my week...whatever time i have i do homework and on weekends i work on finishing a room in the basement...just dont ever find the time to take care of the tanks aswell.

Yea it is time consuming and somewhat of a money pit. But, for now, you could stick with soft corals and shrooms/zoas in a smaller tank. Just make up a bucket of water thursday night, and whenever you find a spare 20mins over the weekend, you could just swap out the water. Low cost and low maintenance for those types of tank are deffinately a plus. And, they can look pretty sweet!
