The last time I posted was 3 months ago and I had different light. I love the new mix 3-10k Reeflux and 2-12k reeflux What a difference in color
Let me know what you think
Thanks Rob
Even though yours is empty I see the sickness still has control and you are in here checkin things out LOL.
Let me know when you set up another tank I have plenty of frags for you LOL
yeah right. you never know. I am thinking a small cube. 30 gallon sounds good. 5 gallon water change a week would be easy enough. you got a good source for seahorses?
Rob
My wifes parrents surprised us on friday so it wouldn't have worked
what are you doing this weekend?
by the way I have a 54 corner I might be selling just as easy as a 30 cube LOL
Just a thought
I will call you tomorrow
Wow!! very nice. What kind of ballasts and what kind of lights were you running before these? I think I'm going to get some of those reeflux 10k's, right now I got aquaconnects 14k's. Anybody know if the reeflux 10ks are bluer then my AC 14ks?
I am running hamilton e-balasts
I was running ushio10k's and blue line 14k's
The blue line bulbs would burn out in about 4-5 months
The ushio's lasted about a year but they had a yellow look to them
The 10k's are very white but the bring out color very
If you want a more blue look go with the 12k's
10k's are not blue but the corals are in love with them! The 12k's are closer but are actually a little bluer to the eye then the AC14k's. I ran the AC14k's before making the switch and glad I did. Don'tget me wrong I loved the AC 14k's but the price was a little hard to swallow and the corals didn't have the same response. If you have any actinics and are running E ballasts like Icecaps or Coralvue then the 10k is an excellent bulb choice IMO.
