So quick question when your sound this type of shooting are u shooting with lights on actinics only or lights off and only illuminate with strobe light??

I use either no lights (for the polyp extension) or actinics&near uv light.

Awesome! I already have the gels and filters. I even have a pair of yellow lens glasses that I use to look at my tank sometimes... I just never put two and two together.

what is the wavelenggh of the black light you are using? and where do you get one?nice shots!

No black light I simply put a blue colored film over my flash and added a yellow filter to the lens and fired away

Nice pics, I read the first page and glaced at the pics over the next three. Sorry if I missed it but your correcting ur flash with CTB gel and for the lens filter ur using a yellow filter?

Have u tried just to put CTB over ur lights as the fill and shoot with the yellow filter on? Are u using ur flash to act as fill? I just don't understand why you use the blue. Have u tried to just run your blues lights with a yellow filter? Essentially it's the same isn't it? Or even set ur white balance to 3200k and then shoot with a yellow filter? I have all the gels and filters anyone ever needs but it just happens I'm across the county at this point. Lmk your thoughts.
