The next plumbing project...

Ahh the tubs... I've been talking about a tank room since we moved in. There happened to be a huge close (92"x102") just behind the wall the tanks are on/near (bedroom closet) that Jenn let me have when we moved in for this purpose. I finally got most of the plumbing and have done some work on the closet to make it ready (trying to waterproof as much as possible, as well as dedicated electrical outlets and the like). I'm planning on connecting the 125, 120, 22, and 40B into one system with the 150 tub, a 50 gallon frag tank (to be mounted above the two big tubs) and the 100gallon tub (or a 150 tank to make the sump area easier to baffle). I'm working on dry fitting now...

On the camera settings, I typically run the AV function on the Canon XTi with a Sigma 150mm macro. The f-stop is usually between 13 and 20. I was never able to get any actinics that looked crisp before this camera and lens. On a tripod with a remote trigger, it can get some nice shots. I let PS do an Auto Level adjust, but that's it.

Gary, wish I had hte room to do that. if I wanted a tank room, I woudl have to build it out of the garage. Aint no way!!! Hey, I know i snuck some frags in your tank. are they doing ok? I think one was a birdsnest-pink with purple polyps and white tips...

Oh yea, and first DIBS onthat Crayola when you Frag it.

When we were looking for a house, one of the prereq's was that it have a room for me to build a tank room into. Having (at the time) 5 different water volumes to take care of is a major PITA. I know there are larger issues that can happen with bigger systems, but...

The frags are doing great. I put one of the birdsnest's in Jenn's tank under T5's (somehow ended up with two-one probably came from a trade with David's son:D). It is growing well and showing some really nice colors, though different than the one in the 125. That one is bright pink with some purple blended in at the tips and deep purple polyps. Her's shows the white growth tips, but not so much on the one in the 125.
