LOL, theres my famous saltwater streak running down the glass in the last pic.Its on the back side of the tank and I cant get at it to clean it ,so it just looks like its on the front.annoying though that it shows so much in pics.

Thanks Gary I take that as a great compliment coming from you.Still learning.
Most of the sps were recent additions from Capt Cully but do seem to have colored and attached well. The zoas other than nuke greens have grown from 2 polyp frags but seem to be growing more rapidly.

I hear ya on the fish it is skinny ,I have a pair of the helfrichis but the one in the pic went through the overflow into the skimmer, damaged an eye and as a result ,you noticed a bit skinny.I ve been feeding 3 times a day but he was a bit reluctant to eat much, very picky but does seem to be ok.

Thanks all.other stuff not in the pics and had just chopped some of the zoas & palys. Some sunset monti ,ect...

That hammer is recent, I have a few others not in the pics.I left out the whole left side of the tank other than that hammer. Its a wall type, probably ancora sp.but its a guess with those type.
Somewhat mimic reefgroto -patchreef, the left side backreefslope. An attempt anyway.LOL.

Lots of nice stuff here! I really like the little firefish - hopefully he'll continue to recover!
I also really like the variety and placement - looks like everything will have some room to stretch out :)

nice sprinkle of colors throughout :)
been wanting one of those firefish for a while... do you have screenmesh to keep it from jumping out?

I dont have a screen top on this tank I was going to make one but tanks coming down soon.
Helfricki are paired, midwater feeders that like to orient themselves to face the current.I've never seen them anywhere near the surface. But its best to have a screentop in general as your probably both well aware .They have been in the tank about a year now.One of my favorite fish especially that they are paired.
I've always had an interest in gobies and smaller fish that can be paired for breeding ,upgraed tank will be heavily geared towards that type setup.
See if I can get you guys better pics.

Yeah, thats the healthy one.The first pic (skinny fish) went through the teeth of the overflow box directly whitch is plumbed to a needlewheel skimmer.I do have it teed off so that ended up saving him.Damaged his eye not shown in pic. I found some plastic screen used for knitting at craft store and putting that around the overflow box.Just have to clean it often.
My next tank wont have any teeth cut into it.
