some questions about carpet anemones

i'm looking into getting a carpet anemone and I want to choose one that is more on the "easier" side. I've had 2 years expereince with bubble tips and a long tentacle anemone. I understand the difficulty of these anemones and was wondering if green ones are "easier" to keep then a blue or purple one? On that note are haddoni's easier than gigantea? what size is the best to buy? I was thinking maybe finding on that is 5-6" so that it can absorb enough light. I also read about carpets attaching to rocks and actually moving them...have people had a big problem with this? any other suggestions/advice would be great

All other things being equal, there won't be any care difference b/t color morphs.

My experiences are just with Haddonis, so can't speak about Gigs (( besides, the general; prefer more flow, and staying on the rocks. ))

The hardest part about Haddonis is getting a healthy one, they don't seem to be the best shippers and can go down hill fast, after looking great the first 5 days or so. I would say that after the first couple of months they are pretty hardy (( as far as anemones go )), but those first couple of months can be difficult.

All of mine (( currently have 4 )), have their foot buried in the sandbed, right at the rock/sand interface. The seem to be sensitive to too much flow, but still like a decent amount -- need to find that sweet spot. Mine have moved good sized rocks when moving -- with their foot still attached to the bottom of the tank.

As for what size, perhaps 6-10 inches, but I would be more concerned that it is healthy then the size, an open mouth isn't a good sign.

Mine has its foot in a rock and has had it there for 2 years. For a year before that it was between the rock / sand like Toddrtrex's
