I pulled out the avast camera tube today and tried again. I deliberately bumped Eric (Zibba) this past weekend hoping some of his camera skills would rub off on me.

OHHH I can't believe I've loved without getting my fix of your coral pictures in so many months! They always take my breath away!!! Stunning from corner to corner!

Wow...Your Rainbow Monti is absolutely stunning!!!

For some reason this coral photographs poorly color wise. The base is blue but it shows up more purplish when I try to photograph it. I don't know how to correct with post processing so I leave it as is. The other photos are accurate color wise. Thanks for the compliment. JP

JP, what's the trick to getting both orange and green polyps on your rainbow Monti? Mine was browned out a bit but as it came back it had both orange and green polyps but now it seems to be almost all green polyps. Its doing well and spreading nicely just lost the rainbow effect.

I hostly don't know. I used to think it had to do with being close to the rim but it isn't that way at all now. I used to have a couple different pieces of the same mother colony in the tank and each piece grew differently. These corals are unpredictable. JP

Whatever you did for the 30k lokani picture, repeat that! :) Great shot!! Can't wait to get over there to see the tank in person.

Awesome shots. That shot of the 30K Lokani is amazing. One of the Macro shots of this coral that I've seen so far. :)
