Someone Please Buy Me This

That's priced to make noise not to sell. Now when they start selling clones for $500 people will think they are getting a deal.

Umm... I have one just like that. It's actually red/rusty orange, but under the right lighting it looks just like that :)
IMO this is a hoax... I hope nobydy falls for it :/

I agree; under normal lighting that is just a green-tipped RBTA. Worth about $50.

I agree the price is just dumb, but most RBTA have a green base. Green tips on a RBTA is definitely more rare. I would love to see some pictures of some other than the ebay photo if they are common.

I just might pay 300-400€ for a pink or blue haddoni, but never ever for a BTA!
My green BTA with purple tips looks amazing under LEDs, btw ;)

I look through the rating of the seller, he sold plenty of corals and all the buyers were happy. What little substrate show in the picture, looks normal in coloration. It certainly does not look like the picture have been heavy alter in coloration with Photoshop. The anemone looks healthy and seem to be under very bright light and the zooxanthallae density is low (or a little bleached)

Not that I think that anemone is worth $1000.00 but I think the color is not enhance and the light is about 10,000-14,000K. One can certainly asked him before bidding.

It is probably just advertising for their business. They put the high price so that no one will bid on it, but they can show the type of things they carry.

*ding ding ding ding ding*

They have some kind of event coming up on the 29th. This is probably just a novel way to bring traffic to their site.

Your right, I feel kinda silly for actually thinking they were trying to sell the bta for that price:lmao.

I sent him a question asking if the price was correct. His response was that he is giving it away this weekend on another forum as a consultion to those who can not go to MACNA this weekend. Very unusual marketing strategy as I did not understand the give away in the 2nd and 3rd picture was for this anemone until the reply from my question.
