Saw the strangest thing the other day when i went to go buy my RO unit from a reefer. One of his small anemones maybe an inch (think it had split. Had managed to attach itself to a hermit crab and was riding on it. WHAT???. Lol has anyone ever seen this we laughed about it for a long time. At first glance we thought it was eating it but its actually just attached to its shell and takes it every where. I dont know the guy well but ill try and get him to send me a picture. Has anyone else ever seen this??

I had kenya tree coral growing on a hermit crabs shell. The coral, and maybe your anemone, may have attached to the shell before the hermit started to use it. I've had a halloween hermit for 6+ years now and he has changed shells 4 or 5 times. My wife picks out his new homes and she's pretty good at it. It's worked almost every time.

I as well had a Kenya fall on snail shell stayed there for a week and than fell off. That's cool a nem was on the shell. That would worry me if I had a lot of other coral in the tank though.
