I started my new 180g a week and a half ago. Today I started MB7 per the instructions on the bottle. Instructions say to turn the skimmer off for 4 hours. Do you do that? I want to dose Zeo Amino acids, Coral Vitalizer and Vodka. When do you think I should start dosing those?

Talk about EYE CANDY. I always love to see your tank Sonny. I've been dosing MB7 and Vodka for 4 wks now. I just got done removing my deep sand bed in my sump per your recommendation. I'm excited to see where this takes me. Thanks Sonny for your guidance.

Agreed; Radiums are crisper and have more PAR than XM20k

Sonny, your tank is looking great. One of these day I have to make it out there in person.

I also agree on the Radiums. There par is very underrated, I beached a few corals after switching to them for 12k reeflux's. With that said ballast type plays a big role.

Sonny, how do you like the Vortechs compared to the Tunze's? Have you ever used a Tunze wavebox and if so how does the Vortech perform in comparison? I'm debating on which route to go between the two so, I'd love to get your input/experience.

Hey Sunny,

Would you recommend continuing the use of UV while dosing vodka/MB7?I currently shut mine down for 4 hour after addition as suggested on the MB7 bottle but want to make sure there is no conflict with the vodka.
