Sony DSC-H1?

I'm looking at a new camera to do macro shot any suggestions? Has anyone used this camera?

ive had the camera for a little over a year now. personally i think its the next best thing to an SLR cam. i have a little over 3100+ shots on it and its stil lrunning strong, i havnt really dont that many macros on it. but the ones that i do remember taking look nice.

I have been researching that camera also. Next month, the new/improved version will be avaliable. (DSCH2) Upped it to 6 mp and a few other things.

So what you think about the picture quality. I have purple torte I want to do some real up close macro shot with. What you think do the trick?

a picture isnt a picture without photoshop. ask any pro. the camera does play its part but post editting does the trick. out of the box it does pretty good.

iso 64
shutter speed 1/13-1/25
ap 3.7
contrast +1
sharpness +1
w/wide angle lens

and to answer your question about picutre quality. as long as you know how to use the settings then your straight. you have to really play with it to learn. i could tell you my pictures didnt look to great when i first got it, but as time went on they started getting better. just be sure to read read read, and practice of course

OK cool pics i can see how the editing is done. Where al the pics blurry or did the camera do the detailed shots of the cars.
