Soo...who managed to snatch this piece?

It was an aussie A. elegans?

Well, if it turns solid glowing purple the way my elegans frag did, then it might just be worth it.

I friend bought this maricultured piece at a LFS and gave me a small frag. I do not know if he still has it. I'm pretty sure it's an elegans. The colony looked like the ones LADD has been posting.

SD guy, your frag borders on the level of insaaannne! and your pink boobies colony as well. Was admiring it last night. Its on the top of my must have list. :)

That elegans they have id'ed looks very/too similar to the aussie lokani i picked up from them a couple weeks back. When I saw it I was thinking it's prob the same species. And for that amount of money I wouldn't want to be getting a lokani colony. :D

I can see why they id'ed it as elegans though. It sort of have the leaf like structure that elegans have, but to me an elegans should have flatter branches.

WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE! I thought i was all scott free and clear not buying any more pieces.. but you left Aussie Gem UNSOLD until Saturday Morning?! ..Granted DD screwed up and it wasn't showing up w/the other new pieces it was buried some how on the second page even when sorted by newest.. but still.. I don't think I've ever seen a "TRI-COLOUR" stag like this, and I have a feeling this is one of the few times the photos don't do it justice.. Peter.. Like it or not i'm going to have to bring you a frag next time I come down to SD.. I can't be the only keeper of this..and I have a feeling under the right conditions it's going to colour up INSANE.

It was on the second page, but marked with new. I only found it by clicking all the "aussie" links in the email. The wild growth from on it is nuts, it like, plates but never fills in, and "stags" at the same time... hopefully it will grow in something similar..

How cool is this..
