Didn't you pick up that skimmer from Turbo... Justin, what are you going to do with that one you got from him?

thats for another project :P

as for the price i got a pretty good deal by emailing the seller and asking if he could do better. and he did in my eyes, got a small discount and a replacement impeller assembly out of it. im very happy to say the least :inlove:

A+ good job!

actually to be completely honest...i did absolutely no haggling, i had spoken to them back in November, and they had offered me a soon to be old model of the nac 9 for a good price but i never finalized cause i forgot lol. today i reach out to them to see if they still had the older model and if they would honor our original arrangement. they told me that it had been sold but if i really wanted to get that skimmer they would reduce the price of the new model :bounce2: so...with part of the savings i ordered the impeller :D

im really impressed with the way they handled that.

I just got a reef octo extream 160 pulls so much good luck david

i did a lot of searching before i chose this skimmer, it gives me everything i need, at the size i need. my sump is a 45 long so its only 12" wide...which was my biggest issue. but this baby is perfect :D and when i go bigger i wont need to get another one :bounce3: win, win.

Great choice Dave...

My sister's boyfriend just got this skimmer for his new 150g.. he's had it running for ~1 already and he said its already pulling out all kinds of stuff and he only has one fish in there.

Very nice purchase! Im jelous:) Post some pictures when you get it up and running.:bounce3:

PM me when/if you still want that tank/skimmer I have for you. It's a huge empty tank in a small full house right now.

@stan really? Cool, do me a favor and have him call me. We spoke over the phone before; but that was before the "cold war" lol

@Anthony its not a gate valve exactly but it performs the same task.

yea but the price difference is significant. If i need to i can always just upgrade the pump to something better, i think ive read somewhere that someone did that.
