M misguided New member Feb 24, 2006 #1 Is southdown a nitrate causing sand? I was thinking of putting 50lbs of southdown and 20lbs of Arag-Alive or should i just go with the arag-alive?

B Buster4900 New member Feb 24, 2006 #3 I put 150 pounds of southdown in my tank and never had a nitrate problem.
