Southdown

Just got some Kolarscape at the HD in Lancaster. If you guys can't find it I can bring some to the NCPARS swap for you. It's $3.99 a bag.

I was looking for some and Sanjay suggested I check ncpars.org forum for somebody who has 100 bags and he is close to you too.

He has a little less than 100 bags, but I need about 20,000 lbs. total, so I am looking for more.

Do you have to have southdown to build a stadium ? I would say you need to make an arrangment with a company in Florida who brings sand from ocean. I did some research on that few years ago and you can buy per container and it might not be southdown but similar. Florida sand has some metal in it and so southdown (I have tested them both in the past).

I need enough for twelve 600-gallon vats.

I am going to talk to an aggregate company tomorrow and see what I can find out. I am just trying to keep my options open.

That's a lot a sand! Sounds like you're building your own little inland ocean! ;) Otherwise known as a coral farm! :) Wish you all the best with your new undertaking!

Where is the guy with the 100 bags?

Steve,

How long till the new facility is up and running? I am also wondering if NCPARS can come and tour it once its up and going maybe for MACNA next year? What are your main areas of concentration gonna be?

thanks,

Rick

I will be putting together a PowerPoint presentation on my greenhouse and parts of it will likely make it into my MACNA presentation next year. I also have a little blog of my project going on another board where I host my own forum.
