Saw the tide pools at La Jolla at low tide. All those different species of algae and seaweed there made me think that my tangs would have a field day! (was thinking how to get some back on the airplane, even had a pretty red variety 
seaweed might have smelt better than the stinky baby I had to sit next to on the flight back ). Saw hermits and anemones and a lot of things on this site (though no sea hares, but must have been there!).

Was thinking, clean up crew for the tank too, but they were cold water.
Wow, the swimmers there are hard core, swimming just in bathing suits out in the ocean, asked and overheard the water was around 60 degrees and there were sharks further out! I did dip my toes in to see how cold (and around tide pools) and it was cold enough for my feet! I lot of the swimmers were lobster red coming out, lol.
