How long should it take for an rbta to split mine started last night and still has two strands connected. Is this cause for concern>?

it could happen any time.
No cause for concern there. It can take a few days for the halves to separate completely. From what I've observed, the larger the anemone to begin with, the longer it takes to completely sever. From my original anemone, I've had cloning that completed in a few hours and, on the other extreme, the longest it ever took was almost a week for a little thread to finally break between the halves.
