SPS Dominated 47G Reef

Kevin the Koala is coming to stay with me for a few weeks...Going to be a busy few weeks... :uhoh3:

sahin, chomping at the bit to see an update myself :)
Best regards,

Hey Perry!!! How are you man? Havent seen you around much lately. I see a new 120G dream tank in the works?

My next tank is going to be a 100G cube hopefully.

Just waiting on my bro to sort out some Youtube upload issue and the video link will be posted soon. :D

PS, I hope you guys arent expecting to see a nice tank when you see the video...:uhoh2: My tank doesnt look nice to be honest...but I am happier about the SPS colours hence I asked my bro to shoot a video. - Just a prior warning. :worried:

Glad to hear you caught the alk drop and sorted it out.
That's a very cool rise in alk draw Sahin, it's hard to notice growth sometimes when you see the display every day. I'm sure that ATI unit plays a big part in the success you're seeing, it's very important to have confidence in your lighting imo.

Cube wars are coming Sahin................. prepare yourself...... :strooper:

No need to stress about what the display as a whole looks like mate, regardless of what it looks like i'll slag your scaping anyway so stop stressing......
What are you running your parameters at now if i may ask mate.

Hey Sahin,
Still have a setup, but it was in an add-on room, that was vented, but I always remained 2-3 degrees above ambient room temp, so the setup area is not the best. I have settled into a home, don't plan on leaving anytime soon, so decided to go ahead and pursue the larger tank that I find suitable in terms of space, but large for me, in fact largest in my 10+ years in reefkeeping. That said, I found a purchase opportunity for a complete tank, stocked with large colonies of sps, and beautiful design in scaping, but the tank and the fish, corals, rock, filtration, everything down to brute containers, and fish supplements and food. Anyway, your colors of corals are brilliant, no worries, I am sure the tank looks fantastic... Keep up the great work bro!

Sahin, what a tease!! I saw your thread bumped to the top and I was sure I would be hunkering down to watch a wonderful video. The wait continues :)

Nothing to apologize for mate, family should always come first, hope you're just busy and everyone is fine :)

Btw i told Kevin that Marty bumped your journal.............. he laughed so much he fell out of his tree......... Koala's are mean spirited by nature.

No worries, I was just giving you a bit of a hard time. Family is always 1st in my book. I hope all is well. We are just all excited. :)

Yeah, I appreciate you guys following the thread, so I kinda feel bad for not getting the pics/video up. Things are a little stressful, but when I get some time I will get pics/video.

I know how you feel. There are some days where I can't even view my tank. That's why I had to switch my photo period from normal hours to slightly different. My photo period used to be from 8am-8pm but is now 12pm-12am. I wasn't getting enough viewing time after work so I decided to push it back a bit. I love my photo period now.

Take your time. Quality is better than quantity when it comes to most things including pictures of reef tanks.
