sps growth under t5's

Yea, after looking at the spectrum chart I see it does have a full spectrum, I think I had it confused with the UVL Aquablue which I used before and thought it was too blue with my Blue +.

Iwan, you have such an amazing way with corals and an eye for beautiful aquascape as well

When are you going to translate your webpage for those of us who can't read Schriftdeutsch??

:)

Thanks :-)

I know, I know...I should translate my webpage. I am working on it...or better: I keep it in mind :-)

@James

Iwan, your tank never ceases to amaze me. Great job.
Your love for the ocean shows through the health of you animals.

Iwan,

Wow! thanks for taking the time to show off.
i was actually just on your website the other day trying to learn "German" (i think?) :)

if it took only one tank to convince me of T5's superior capabilities it would be yours.
luckily this thread has provided many exemplary examples of T5 success.

thanks for inspiration.

hey SunnyX,

would you like to do us the honor of posting some pics under that "Aquactinics Constellation 7x54W T5"

i am intrested in that light, do you like it? pros cons ect?

I'm almost embarrassed to post pictures of my tank after seeing Iwan's dream of all dreams (...yes, he's my idol :o ), but here goes.

I've only been in the hobby since the beginning of last year. The pictures are from my first tank, 75 gallons, SPS dominated.

Thanks for posting a link. :D

The Aquactinic Constellation has been great so far. The fixture runs cool, quiet and bright. The waiting list was too long on the Ati so I went with the next best thing.

I am happy with the fixture and can honestly recommend it to anyone looking for a new T5 fixture.

amazing work wendy,

i may have missed it, what light fixture are you using? and bulb count?
thanks for posting, all the great growth shots.

Thank you kindly.

On my 75 I used the Tek Fixture (6 X 54Watts), and on the 180 I'm using the new Tek Ready Retros, 8 X 80 Watts.

Wendy,

I like the color of the lighting on your 180. What lamps are you using (brand and model)?

Thanks Andrew.
