SPS invasive mess ...

I added an orange spot file fish. Frag tank is full and my aefw makes me a little reluctant to trade/sell (but I may cave soon and sell w/a warning). Hoping it will slow things down a little bit until I figure out if I'm moving or not and then swap everything to a bigger tank...ok that's just an excuse it's my favorite fish but if the shoe fits ^_^

Outside of that I just clip them when they start touching. I like when they intertwine.

I'd love to get an OSFF. Do they nibble on the corals as much as you suspected it might?

Id say close to 80% of my colonies have merged and grown into each other in some location or another. When this happens, there is bump where they touch and then they just grow in a different direction. I'll snap some pictures later on tomorrow.

Interesting. Thanks, I'd like to see.

This is my second time with OFSS the first time was years ago prior to people switching them over to brine I found that pair mostly ate porcillpora. However this one fish is very focused on one large tabling acro I have. He seems to be nibbling a bit more then then I recalled the first pair doing but he is also rather skinny. I'm hoping over time he will get more comfortable with the tank roam a little more and not focus so much on 1 piece. He still looks forward to brine so I need ramp up feeding that a little more in hopes he will pick a little less.

A couple of full tank shots. The first is from a few months ago. The second is recent (with flash). The large Emperor (raised from a small juvenile) has moved on to a much larger home. ....

If you ever want to getid of some ill gladyly put them in my 120 mixed reef, even pay shipping(;

Nice job! Although the title of this thread is misleading it looks like you have tons of room. Especially if you put the hammer coral on the bottom away from any acros, that will open up a huge area. I would let it actually keep growing for a while. It will look well done if you let them fill out the areas on their own!

+2 on ill pay for shipping and handling on a Bo. Full of frags! Mine are growing very slow just started with SPS in my 95gal
