SPS lighting for a 30 gallon cube question.

Hi All,

I have a 30 gallon cube that I am raising some SPS colonies and frags in. It is currently lit by a 150 watt sunpod MH with Phoenix 14K bulb. My questions, is this the right wattage and spectrum? I am using a 12 hour photoperiod, is that proper for milli's, hydnophora, birds nest, etc?
The corals all look good so far, nice color and full polyp extension, but is the photoperiod too long? should I be use a 250 watt MH fixture instead? I have searced the database when available, but haven't found my exact questions answered.

I run an 8 hour photoperiod on my oceanic 30. I have an A.Echinata, 2 millis(blue and green) and a pink birdsnest. I find that the birdsnest doesn't color up that well, the rest do.
