sps question

I had an sps grow on to a rock that one of the branches grew twords and one day i was cleaning the tank of some alge and bumped into it and broke it from that peice. a few days later that coral died. i believe it wasnt getting enuf flow on the bottom and started to recess all the way. well my question is about the small peice that remains on the rock it has no polyps but is still alive about the size of a dime, i was wondering if it will grow or eventually dies off. thanks

I had a plana that I was convinced was on its way out. So bad that I almost yanked it out of the tank and chucked it. Its looked terrible for about a month then all of the sudden I happened to notice this thing is COVERED in polyps and encrusting like crazy. Even right over the dead tissue. I was shocked. Ya never know... All you can do is make sure your params are in check and lighting and flow is good..

I say either its going to make it or its gonna croak. Of course its just a guess :lol:
