sps skin peeling off

well this has been going on for a few months and it int effecting all my sps some the skin is just lifting off and other's burnt tips , cal is 450-460 alk 9-10 and mag 130-1350 test done with salifert, temp stays stable { chiller } no electrical shorts ect, i am lost and dont know what to do, only thing i can possibly think of is i had phosban get kicked into tank, turned return off for wc and forgot to dial reactors done when i turned it back on, everything is ran off one pump. funny part is the harder to keep sps stawberry shortcake, purple monster arent and havent been affected at all. did pull one of my return lines off and it is broke like phosban inside, so before i go to re-plumb my whole tank any other idea's ?

alk is a little high try bringing it down to around 8 and then see what happens.

What are the rest of your parameters? nitrates in particular, but I would like to see them all. Have you tested at different times to see if it is consistent?

I do no think Alk is the culprit here unless it is swinging.

My alk is around 13 and everything is fine in my tank. It's never dropped below 12 and no matter how much I've tried it never does. Since it's a constant thing however, everything is going great. Nitrates or phosphates maybe? My green slimer didn't do good in nitrates of 20-25.

x2 on the green slimer, anything over 10 it started to darken and not extend polyps

Check for any nuisance crabs is eating the skin of your sps.
I had same issue and found the crab as the culprit.

no crabs and ive always kept alk around 9 will have to check niitrates, but last check was at 5 on nitrates. ty guys, this just has me baffled

Usually when sps skin peel is do to a big change with your water parameter.
