I have been dosing Vodka/MB7 for about 3 months now to bring down the Nitrates and my current dose is 3.8ml/daily. My corals were doing fine and colors were getting better and had some growth but recently its been going down hill, some are starting to STN. I also have GFO/Carbon to clean the water.

Not sure if this helps but this also started when I took out all my fish to put in QT for ich, so the tank is pretty much just corals, however I do feed the tank with some coral frenzy from BRS.

My params are:
NH3:0
PH:8
NO3:<20
PO4:0
CA:480
ALK:10

sounds like they are not getting enough food if this all started when you took the fish out. but thats just going on the info you provided to us.

Not enough food will cause them to STN? Feeding the coral frenzy doesn't help, or should I feed even more? Do you think the Nitrates/Alk is bad enough to cause them to STN? I was suspecting something chemical in the water but I dont know, do you think using more carbon to rule that out?

Any recommendations as to what to do? I really dont want them all to slowly STN.

I have stopped all dosing GFO, I am just using carbon now and feeding coral frenzy in hopes that the corals stop STN as I believe its the dosing and having no fish in the DT as to why the corals are having STN.
