SPS transport

In the worst possible situation, how long could a 7" piece of SPS survive in a bag for transport.

If I had access to good water for changes, how often would it need to be changed?
How much sunlight a day would be the minimum to keep it alive?

I met someone who is tearing down their tank, and I am trying to save his coral and put it in mine.

I had mine in buckets for 4 days when we had an emergency. Didn't have a single problem. As far as bas go, I couldn't say. I had bubbles in my buckets.

How far are you traveling? You should be fine for quite some time as long as you can keep a decent temperature (and a little water circulation if it's over 24 hours or so would help).
