SPS under 250s

I use 250w phoenix DE bulbs with blue wave hqi ballasts. The middle uses a lumen max 3 pendant, the ends use reef optix 3's. I use VHO's for supplementation... a UV 454 bulb and a super actinic bulb. Plenty of growth with the 250's!!

that smudge in the middle of the tank is because the blue tip tort grew onto the glass.

I also use 250W 14K DE Phoenix bulbs. On Icecaps.

Great pics and inspiration. My SPS Mixed reef tank is still a juvenile but I have 2X250 Watt 14k Pheonix bulbs with IceCap Ballast. Hopefully I can snap some shots soon

I have them posted up all over but there are mine. Light is 1 250w Phoenix on Icecap ballast.

This is mine under 2 250w XM 20K's. I just re-aquascaped my tank last month. Most of my growth came from Reeflux bulbs. My sps's started to recede at the bases due to lack of flow, so I opened up the aquascape. Corals are just starting to get their colors back.

Andy, I loke the aquascaping here with the two 'islands. Hopefully it still the same appeal to it with the new design
