Sps?

I've been able to do basic ID's on most everything in my tank except this one (ie I'm not necessarily concerned with the "variety names" everyone gets hyped up about) Everything else I seem to see examples of everywhere. It doesn't seem to be growing into a branch type sps, but doesn't stay flat like other encrusting or plate sps I have...I appreciate whatever info you can contribute.

Could be the beginnings of Valida.

Me too but it still needs to be in my tank!! lol I'm no good with coral names but that's an awesome piece you got there.

Looks like a valida, possibly a bonsai variety.

purple bonsai. ( a. Valida ) I had one in my 55g before i down graded to a 24g. Mine was dark purple with gold polpys.
