Squamosa with broken hinge

Just got this nice 4" squamosa. I moved it in the quarintine tank, and noticed the hinge was broken. The halfes of the shell move freely from each other. It seems to be extending its mantle well, but is obviously un able to close all the way. What if anything should I do?

just leave it in quarantine until it heals, it sound as though it might have been dropped. Just make sure you haveenough lighting on the tank.

Thank you. Lighting will not be a problem. It is under a 250 DE, with 400 watt se on both sides. I will leave it alone.
