ORCA President 2007~2008

Hi all,

As everyone knows SRC is just days away. If you haven't registered yet for this awsome conference and Friday meet and greet you're gonna miss out on the coolest event that ORCA has ever put together.

Check out the raffle page on the SRC site to see all the cool prizes we'll be raffling off. Never before in history of raffle-dom have there been so many awsome prizes! :)
And for those who plan to bring frags for the frag auction, be sure to register your frags here . You will be able to bid on the rarest most wicked, bang'n, smok'n hot, simply outragous corals you've ever seen. All grown by your fellow reefer hobbyists here locally in Flroida.

Most everyone knows that we have some of the most well known speakers and authors in the hobby coming; Julian Sprung, Sanjay Joshi, Richard Harker and Eric Borneman.

But did you know that James Fatheree will be coming as our special guest..? James will be doing a book signing "Giant Clams in the Sea and the Aquarium " which he'll have available at the conference.

I am curious as to how many ORCA members and hobbyists actually keep clams in their reef tanks..? I have five in my reef; a large squamosa, two croceas and one teardrop maxima and one ultra maxima. I have'nt seen all that many in member tanks but I simply may have not noticed.

Do many of you have clams..? Just curious.

I have a crocea that came from waterfaller's tank I think :) It's doing awesome under my T5s.. I love them!

Eventually I want to get a really nice maxima when I have a tank big enough it can grow into. If you have the lighting for them I think they are wicked cool
