I'm very new to the hobby and here are some pictures of the tank I've had for around 4 months. Prior to myself it was setup for over 2 years from a prior owner. The move of the tank went well and now it's time to have some fun with it. I've done minor items after the move to the condition to where it is now. Please feel free to comment while I post updates. Also I'm interested in more corals and maybe livestock if anyone wants to trade or sell shoot me a private message.

More pictures to come and I will learn how to use my camera today and take some of how the tank is now. I really think I need more sand. Ideas thoughts? I have a small bag I can add.

Looks good! I'm assuming you're in the St Pete, FL area? Check out the Tampa Bay Reef Club if you're interested in doing local trades, etc. They have a section here on RC.

Off to a good start, so many awesome stores in Tampa, not too far from you... Jealous!...lol... The local Tampa forum is really good place to find deals on equipment, trades for corals, and overall just a good networking local forum full of great people, you should have no problem just posting around there with questions and so forth... Good Luck!
:)

Looking good! I'm getting back in after five years dry... Had a 75g reef and am setting up a Fluval Edge 6g as a summer project. There are some GREAT stores here. I just found a new one (to me) at Dale Mabry and Kennedy... Right across the bay from us. My St. Pete favorite in Bay Pines seems to have lost a lot of its shine while I was away... Sad, really, was a great shop.

Again, nice tank!

Front picture of tank with light. I may move the light up 1-2 inches or cut down on hours some mushrooms shrivel up toward top.

Not a bad shop but just hard to get them to help you when needing to buy corals. Mostly everyone is busy, but decent pricing and people. hows the dale mabry place? Cheap frags?

LOTS of frags. The place is as clean as a freaking museum. Small showroom, but lots of variety, very clean, very organized, very clearly marked. They have frags at every price/experience level. They make most of their money through installing and servicing aquariums in professional settings, I believe... so that's why their showroom is so small - that's not the #1 money earner from them. Also why it's spotless - people see how nicely run the place is and aren't afraid to spend tens of thousands with them.
