Stand alone doser "Instruction Manual" Question

Gotcha!

New member
I started reading the small manual supplied and uner operaion before even getting to the programming and calibration I see this in bold print:

Important hint: while programming it must be assured that the pumps run (in my case I have a 4 unit) for max. 15 minutes continuously, the subsequent pause must be at least as long as the previous duty cycle! Otherwise the life time will be reduced

Can someone clairify what this means exactly. Does this just mean a pump can not run for more the 15 minutes at a time before having to stand idle for 15 minutes, etc.

Thanks

Yep Brwestern reply is correct, it is "advised" so the motor does not get put under any undue strain.

You should not really be using a doser to dose more than 900ml in 15 minutes, not many applications call for this, if it does i.e ATO consider a small Pico pump such as Hydor.
