star I can put in sump/fuge

I have a 55g sump/fuge.
I have live rock rubble and some cheato in there.
Could I put a star in there?
I was wondering about one of the many that may not be reef safe but could scavenge in there?

Cc should be fine in there just feed it once or twice a week.
