Starcki Damsel - Rare or Seasonal?

I did come across some that are available at saltwater heaven but I've never ordered from them before. So doing some research. Seem a bit higher priced than what I recall but maybe everyone is starting to catch on of their popularity

What are they going for? you can pick one up over here for £40-45 ($60-65).

I have two males, one from BZ and one from DD, but would need some girls too. Getting the girls without getting more guys is the tricky part...

How do you sex the Starcki damsel? I've got one I picked up from DD and would love to know what it is.

Usually by size and shape. Males have a more stretched body while females are closer to round. At same height females are shorter than males.

The one I got from Blue Zoo was clearly a male, but I hoped the one I got from DD may have still been female despite being of equal size - I should have known better.

If you want females for sure they need to be below 1.5 inch, smaller is better.

No, I just would like to know if there's a difference in coloration or not. And if there is which is the better of the two.

My Australian starcki has a little dull spot on its forehead, which I think is an individual discoloration due to a light infection it had a there.

Not sure where my DD starcki came from precisely. It was listed on DD as Melanesian Starcki Damsel. It could be from Fiji as that is part of Melanesia. But the Solomons or PNG also belong to Melanesia, and at least the Solomons also export them.
In any case it is the one that looks slightly prettier to me (it also cost $10 more).

East coast is further away from Fiji = higher freight cost.
