Start up of my 24g Aquapod *pic intense*

I just got it in today, my Aquapod 24g with 150w Sunpod, and I am taking water from my 55g so I wont have to cycle it. I am hoping to get a coral and a fish this week. I will also keep posting updates and pics as new things happen. Please comment on anything you like!

Be careful with that stand.
You might want to add some extra braces.

Where would I put the braces? Do you have an example?

Yes, there are threads in this forum about how bad the Current stand is. Reinforce all joints and add some 90 degree braces.

Why thank you noschmo! I am going to put some nice metal bars on each of the 4 corners to stabalize it. It dont think it is built well, but it isn't wobbly at all. I like it, but since you guys are worried of it breaking, I will reinforce it with metal bars.

Surface skimmer collect foam from sand. Does a good job

Also, I just noticed that only 1 set of the blue LED lights are working. The other half just dont turn on... is it broken? The white ones work fine.

I dont have a glass cover. They dont make them in just glass. Only the whole canopy

oh, i was under the impression that it comes with some sort of cover when ordering with the MH lighting. So with the the sunpod it just an open top?

Yes, it is completly open. I like it because it shimmers on the walls. It is really neat!
