Yeah, I have seen that happen as well, so i see where you are coming from. Ive been going slow and steady, taking out loans here and there and paying them off so I don't have some big debt and just default on it, like so many others have. But, I'm confident this will be successful and very profitable once its up and running. Its taken a lot of time, but its something I truly want to do, so I'm going to make it happen.

The insulation and sheet metal arrived last week! Blew the insulation into most of the area above the garage. Some of the smaller areas near the end are tough to get at, so we will need to tackle that still. Blowing insulation makes a mess everywhere, but the garage is already noticeably warmer than outside, where it used to be noticeably colder than the outside. Also, the sheet metal/J trim came encased and on about 16 2x6x16 boards, which are all usable and something we had on our list for the wall. $79 to ship the insulation and metal, and we got $240 in needed lumber! Here are pics of the delivery.

read 2 post above yours. it lists that the metal they ordered came encased in 2x6 boards to protect the metal.

the wood was usable and saved them 260$ in lumber just by recycling the crating material.

FYI, there is a brand new greenhouse/aquarium that is about one year old that was built to raise Tilapia fish, it went belly up after a year. 1st class set up, I wish I had a bigger bank roll I would buy it myself. The bank has repoed it and could probably be had for a song and a dance. It is located in Lenoir City, Tennessee on Highway 321.

People are always negative about EVERYTHING. I hope your business goes great! I too plan on starting a business of breeding fish and coral has always been an interest of mine. But that would require another room for the wife to shut me down on.

He said the bank repoed it, not took it over and kept it running. They collected their capital on the loan to sell it off I'm sure. I seriously doubt there is a banker in a suit raising tilapia on a daily basis. Chill out dude.

Well, you apparently do not understand what happens in a repo. The bank will never run a business. They spend as little money as possible to liquidate the assets to satisfy as much of the original loan as possible. They must do things differently in Canada, but here in the states, that's how it works.

And you still need to chill out. This is a friendly forum, if you don't like how he is doing things, then just ignore it. You have that capacity you know.

Yea, I was just making a statement in case someone on the forums with more money than I have wanted to purchase it! It is a very nice set up.
