Starting up a 720 Gallon and seeking suggestions in Miami!

looks like a stone crab to me.. they get huge and devour everything... They were also too smart for the traps I tried.. had to remove all of the rocks from my tank to get them out. (Once I almost netted one.. then they feared me.. so don't make any mistakes if you try to net him.. be his buddy.. feed him... then strike without warning with multiple nets) -I got mine from tampabay saltwater live rock. I waited too long and they ate a lot of cool things in my tank before I finally decided to take drastic measures. (mostly starfish and shrimp)


I know some people have had luck with a piece of acrylic tube with a sharp pointy end.. and stabbing them when they venture out...

definitely looks like a stone crab claw... delicious. but not reef safe.

you can uh, keep it in a QT tank and rip off 1 claw per year to eat.. technically not illegal :D

Gotta enjoy it through my aquarium. Finally got the stand for the 220 so we should have the system up and running in a month or so. Got some new fish in the tank today. Also finally got the WAV pumps up and running. Gotta say I love the pumps thus far although I definitely like the look of the MP 60s more. Here are some pics of the new inmates lol
