"recovered" is a bit of a stretch, but I certainly have done fairly well. My wife is a little different about these things. Her viewpoint was that the tank project got my mind running again. It helped me immensely in the recovery process.

Rock work and plumbing all looks great Steve. You're setting the bar pretty high with this one for sure.

Well just for you to be back online and reefing is great progress. My family doesnt get cancer, but we are cursed with the stroke and heart attack issues. So I've seen numerous family members really set back. So glad to see you are recoverING.

no drilling the wall? WTH? My wife came home and found the upper floor suported by two temporary 2 x 6 supports I tapped in right before I removed a large section of the only wall supporting the upper floor. Now that I have recovered more from the stroke, I wonder if I would even try that again!

You are brave my friend.. Since i set up a big tank i have a few restriction..

I still remember all the word you told me the first time we talk on the phone. "DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME WILL SAVE YOU MONEY IN THE LONG RUN" so i went all out.

Steves equipment is disgustingly nice. Its pretty much not even right, lol

That is two years of hard working and saving... Now i am broke lol... On the side note. Did you know that your tank has a long cracked inside the overflow box at the bottom :D. I found out about it when i send the tank in for polishing and removing that ghetto overflow box...

I had no idea steve, Im sorry about that. I suppose its a good thing that I downgraded, otherwise I never would have known until it was too late, lol. The overflow was not GHETTO, just because it wasnt EXTERNAL lol.

I was just kidding bro. But the overflow does look ghetto with all the missing teeth :D

Steve,

What controller are you going to use on this tank? Man, I love the workmanship on this tank! I love the grey. Looks professional and clean.

Grey? Which grey are you talking about :D. I am going to use the new Neptune system controller. I think it call the Apex :D. Just a basic controller with a bunch of expansion socket to run all my light. My tank don't need to communicate with me while i am at work :D

Very nice Steve. I am still waiting any day for a tank sale :p Look great ;)

Are you talking me selling my tank? Not sure exactly what you mean but i am not going to sell the tank unless i can afford for a very large house that fit a 10x4 or 12x4. Thank you bro..

New idea :D, i want to use either 1/4" or 3/8" black acrylic to cover my light rack. What do you think? I will have my acrylic guy get the acrylic, cut 2 pieces of 96x24 and 2 pieces of 46x24 then weld-on it together then use stainless crews secure it onto the light rack...
