Monti in FW??? Lord, that IS hardcore. The Melafix will take care of monti-eating nudibranchs, and it is much less harsh on the coral. I have never seen anyone FW dip a monti.

I have done some crazy stuff to my coral before. I remember i bought a piece of Monti cap from a friend and he has a sign of Nudibranch so i fresh water dip the coral, use a tooth brush to scrub the stuff off from the bottom of the monti then use super glue gel to cover the entire bottom of the monti. I am pretty sure if there is nudi, it will be dead

Yes sir... I only put the glue on the bottom not the top. But it took awhile for that coral to recover...

I have just used the regular. A very good friend of mine was a multi-state rep. for AF and when I asked him about it he said the company had known for years about this but never chose to market it as such.

Keep in mind that you MUST turn off your skimmer! Failure to do so will result in a wicked youtube vid.
