I use 2 bags of Reefer salt not the Reefer best though and 2 bucket of TM Pro.... With the Reefer salt, it comes with 4 parts, Salt, Mg, Ca and K+. I want to use that salt at first for 2 reason...

1. It has been sitting at my friend store for almost 3 yrs

2. I want to be able to dial in my parameter....

That's the old discontinued reefers best something about it was not popular? RTN issues or something. The new RB salt is premixed.

This is the very first generation of Reefer Salt. I never have any problem with STN but i do with Reefer Best 2nd Generation. The only thing i do not like about the Reefer salt is the amount of stuff you have to manually added into the water to make it right. I am waiting on my Tunze salt shipment.....

Quick answer: I get up at 5am to go to work, get home around 7pm, eat dinner, help the wife with the baby, once the baby in bed, i will work on the tank a little bit, Go to bed at midnight or 1am. I don't sleep much FYI...

Mark, i plan to add all the Chromis by next weekend. The parameter look pretty good but i'll feel better to wait for another week or 2. Plus i want to wait till my Calcium reactor come, get it up and running before adding anything live stock. I don't want to add any fish in the tank while playing around with the Calcium reactor....

You have some very nice rock in there Steve, but the flat pieces kinda scare me. I would be nervous about detritus accumulating on them once corals start to grow in.

I like the new aquascaping. I dont really dig flat rocks, though. It llooks more natural seeing the corals placed in different positions on the rocks.
