LL, Thank you. I try to get different color SPS coral in the tank not necessary to be LE. As for the Season Greeting i am working on getting rid of it as it growing too fast and i am not a big fan of Monti :D
 
Very nice Steve, the colors of the corals have really increased since the last photo's :)
Maybe I missed it before, but why did you decide to run only two the the waveboxes?

Leon, thank you. When i first start the tank i only run 2 wavebox but now i have 4 running. the pump i am using is the 6201 not the 6261 pump.
 
Finally have the fuge up and running with 4 different types of macro algae. Chaeto, mangrove, Caulerpa and the leafy green stuff :D

Good hearing from you today! Let me know about those Ausy SPS! I am down. I posted before RC did their data migration and wiped me out. Will say again that the tank looks awesome!!! Colors are amazing and great PE. Still amazed that tank doesnt scoot out of the garage with all that wave action!
 
Hey Steve I noticed that you are running Tunze powerheads. Just curious why you went with them and not two EcoMarine VorTechs?

By the way how is your daughter doing now?

Thank you Erik. I will get you more info on the aussie Acro. I think they are very nice and colorful. Will get together soon.

Hello Reeftank, thank you for the kind word. I only have half of the fish left. They went on vacation during my time in the hospital with my little girl. They should come back shortly though :D

I am a big fan of tunze. I have been using Tunze since day 1 plus Vortech doesn't work with 1" acrylic and i didn't have the dry box to run them with.

Vortech can't be used on 1" thickness, max is 3/4" I believe. Plus Vortechs are weak compared to the tunzes that Steve has! Those things pump out almost 8000gph! :eek1:
