Stichodactyla helianthus - Caribbean carpet anemone

You don't want one unless you plan on putting it in a species tank. They kill virtually everything they touch. I have a 16" haddoni that I trust far more than I would a 4" Atlantic carpet.

Would one or two Atlantic chalk bass be safe in a 150G with one, or is that just asking for trouble?

Thanks,

I had a 3.5" Atlantic Carpet kill a 6" lion fish. The Lion fish managed to escape, but it succumb to its injuries a few days later. IMHO, they are not suitable for anything but a species tank.

Any fish in the tank with it is asking for trouble. When trying to remove mine from my tank I would barely touch it with a gloved hand and it would wrap itself around my hand very quickly. It took forever to get that thing to let go.

I have never kept an Atlantic carpet anemone, but it would make an interesting display in a species tank with several symbiotic shrimp.
